Disaster relief missions

By having a number of units shipped to a disaster area, many of the basic needs for affected, and for aid workers can be met. Fresh water can be made from any source of water to supply thousands of persons with drinking water. Electrical power can be generated for tools and equipment in the box, and also distributed in a local camp. Mobile phone coverage can be re-established for the poeple affected and give the ability to place and receive calls with their own phones and numbers. Housing for relief workers and medical treatment facilities can be provided. The ability to place the equipment on water gives an option to always find space for an initial camp even in flooded areas. Several units can be locked together and form a large floating vessel that share electrical power, water and other resources.

Arctic use

A Rivertrotter construction has low friction resitance when towed on ice and snow. The standard container fittings offer a very easy way to add rails which will lower the friction even more on ice. If placed on ice during winter, the construction will float when ice melts during summer. Measurement equipment and alike is safe and can continue to work during any season. For personel on location, the construction offers excellent polar bear protection.

Event support and exhibitions

Events that take place in marine environments can benefit from amphibious containers. A fully equipped service work shop can be fitted in a RivertrotterTM for use on land or water. Events that bring customers to the waterline can have sales presentations and product demonstrations on board one of our innovative constructions, moored close to other attractions on the waterfront. Transport to reoccuring events all over the world is done fast, safely and at low cost.

Construction works

On any construction site in marine environment, small and maneuverable barges come in handy. Compressors, pumps and a lot of units can be shared on the site if integrated in our vessels, which make the equipment transportable in the area. If, for some reason, the equipment is better placed on a large pontoon, our vessels can be placed directly on board when in shipping mode, or in minutes lifted up in floating mode.

Fo small, specialized companies, a RivertrotterTM is ideal as it takes the equipment from place to place without any time for reloading to barges.
